Square Enix officially announces Tegra 3-optimized Demons’ Score

Square Enix just posted their presser announcing their upcoming Tegra 3 -optimized title, Demons’ Score. It’s a breakbeat action game that seemlessly fuses music and battles and it was created using Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 3 to create high-quality 3D graphics.

The premise is Serenity is exactly your average college girl, though when her father goes missing, she sets out to look for him for the lab facility where he works. All Hell breaks loose when she lays on the job the Demons’ Score, a mysterious program which allows her body to get possessed by various demons. Where did her father disappear to? What’s the mystery in the area of the Demons’ Score? Serenity’s battle starts off with the thunderous tunes of Hell!

Obviously since Demons’ Results are Tegra 3-optimized you are able to expect some really cool enhancements which includes:

Advanced bloom effects
Bloom is truly a graphics technique where bright places within the scene bleeds onto its surroundings. It really makes the scene more photo realistic and give the characters more depth.

Advanced rim lighting
Rim lighting will be the effect where of a character is lit from behind, the lasers light leaks around him like a halo. It enhances how we are able to dramatically show the character.

Dynamic shadows
Dynamic Shadow, where the shadow moves as the character does, making a more life-like effect.

Depth of field effects
Depth of field, a unique system where we focus our camera in the character and blur the object that’s right in front and behind him. It really makes the game higher and immersive.

Higher resolution textures
High resolution, using twice higher render target resolution compared to other versions, the complete image will certainly be sharper and higher quality.

Demon’s Score should be out in the summer months some time this year, however for now check out the trailer below and will help us to understand you may think.
