Sony trades Facebook likes for early Xperia announcement

Sony's hired new Xperia smartphone on the horizon, and it's willing to bring its announcement date forward in exchange for a couple of "likes" on the internet. Nowadays, all will be revealed next Thursday, June 21, still the company's calling on fans to press a "fast forward" button to supply you with the announcement forward (naturally, liking the promotion or sharing with friends also will speed some misconception.) There's also the risk to purchase the mysterious device, if you're ready for clicking some more buttons and entering your e-mail address.

With the degree buzz Sony is looking to construct, we view just one likely candidate with regards to a "next Xperia," as it's being called -- an international element of the Xperia GX, perhaps under a different name. A whole new flagship product, the GX right now slated to arrive in Japan in a month, so a global variant would be expected to follow. It'd also keep a copy reports of a device codenamed "LT29i" or "Hayabusa," which reportedly features a spec list identical to the GX. As per a Sony roadmap which leaked earlier in, the Hayabusa was geared toward a July launch, which could fit perfectly with the announcement window.

We'll keep you posted whenever Sony announces its next popular trend.
